Omega-Kemix Reactors are now available
with Top Entry Magnetic Seals (or MagDrive), which have been
supplied to several leading Chemical and Pharmaceutical plants.
A MagDrive Assembly involves cutting edge technology for sealing
of agitated vessels, and has several advantages over conventional
mechanical seals, as follows:
• A magnetic seal is a non-contact device, resulting
in long equipment life and trouble-free operation.
• It ensures safe sealing of vessel fluids at high
pressures and temperatures.
• Ensures safe sealing of hazardous, toxic or flammable
reactants.
• It saves power through minimizing friction between
moving parts.
• Non contaminating design.
• Eliminates sealing (barrier) fluids that could
potentially leak into the reactor in case of failure of the
seal- face.
• Pressure fluctuations of batch operations (pressurizing
and depressurizing) do not affect integrity of the seal.
• Trouble free operation eliminates downtime due
to seal failure.
Omega-Kemix can supply Mag Driven Gas-Induction Reactors upto
25000 litres operating volume, and pressure upto 100 Bars.
Higher capacities and pressures are also possible with special
designs.
